Beck’s been working on that crazy long left hand break over at Whale Bay.
Quinne went up the road to Manu Beach to strut her stuff on some of the bigger waves.

Hi Amy and Oliver,
I hope this message finds you well. Amy, I tried emailing, but I am not sure your email still works.
Your adventure seems amazing and you all look wonderfully happy. Will is a skiing machine this year. Quinne will have to show him her surfing moves! We miss you!

hi you guys. i miss you. how long has it been now, like three years? i still go to call amy sometimes and then realize that i can't. i love looking at your blog. i might be wrong but i feel like i haven't heard amy's narration for a while. what gives? if there weren't proof of her in pictures i'd wonder if she hadn't stayed back at the farm or something.
but maybe i'm projecting. when i was maybe five my parents took us on a trip like this for a summer in alaska. at one point they ended up getting in a fight and my mom drove off without my dad on some deserted road. my sister and i were in the backseat pretending to be asleep but at a certain point one of us said, "um, mom?" she pulled over about a mile up and we all waited silently in the car for my dad to catch up with us on foot. must have given them some time to cool off.
on that note, do either of you get the opportunity to go off on journeys by yourself? even for an hour? how is it? what do you do? hang out in coffee shops writing in your journals?
