The Karikari Peninsula

Choose a bay depending on the wind. Either side has beautiful sand and water.

Lush vegetation meets sandy beaches.

Not a bad place to watch the sun go down.

But now it's time to leave the east coast to see what the west coast has to offer.

Hey Webers!

Happy summer solstice and all - what a fun adventure you're all on! We want to see MORE pictures.

Jason, Johnny, Suzie (and the kids), Jenny and I are all here at my folks house in snowy Tabernash. Chad and Kelly are coming up to stay for new years after a day of skiing today. I think we're all going to go to Hot Sulphur Springs this evening.

We went night skiing at Sol Vista last night with Kevin Krause, Emily and her kids - cold and a blast! Than came back for curry and drinks at my folks house.

We are enjoying your blog and enjoying your obvious joy at your experience there. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Peace - Bill and crew

Hi guys - just back from a week away spending Christmas with Tony's family. A lovely time was had by all although- you were in my thoughts all the time.

Yesterday we went to see Tony's cousins in Glossop- in the peak district which was beautiful and I cannot wait to return.
Tony's youngest cousin- Angela lives in NZ and was visiting for Christmas. Naturally we talked at length about what you guys are doing and she passed on her details which I will email to you.
She lives on the south island and was a nurse and while she still does some nursing..she is now selling real estate in the little place where she lives.
I have borrowed a map of New Zealand and am following you every step of the way. I love you all and you are in my thoughts every day. love always

Hi guys - Lara here again. Just wanting to let you know that our e-mail is down at the moment. I wanted to know if you knew that Gumpy died on the 20 Dec. I just found out today and thought I'd post in case you didn't know. He went peacefully according to Mum, which was what he wanted...I hope he rests in peace.
I will send Angela's details when my e-mail is up again- she lives on the South Island so I suppose it will be a while before you would contact her anyway.
lots of love again-lara
