Going South

We're on our way south. From Colville we spent a night on the east coast of the Coromandel peninsula. Now we're on the bottom flag:

We spent a pleasant week or so visiting the Burts in Tauranga a few years ago.

Hi all. I don't know if my messages are going through. I just replied to Amy's e mail and it said it didn't recognize the address. So I sent a message through here and it dosen't show. Maybe it's my limited computer skills. Hope you get this. Meanwhile, I don't know that Jane. My friend is Jane Foley. She lived in Robins Bay (or maybe it was Robinsons Bay). Love, Grandma Susie

Hi Oliver,

Looks like you are having a great time. Did you taste any of the graet New Zeland Pinot Noirs Wines?

Hi Kiwi-Wanna-Be's. American Jenn here. I can't look at your site too often because something in my heart gets all fluttery and I have this thing that happens with my face that is precisely halfway between a laugh and a cry. It's a rather contorted look for the public library. Certain pictures or phrases you write inspire it more than others. Somehow the picture of Quinne milking a cow was a real doozy for me. Ditto the one of her in the fairie tree. Anyway, a comment question: Do you only see comments on recent posts, or if I wanted to post a comment on an older post would you see it, too? I wanted to thank you on sending pictures of the van because it helps me so much to envision your experience, but I wasn't sure you would see it there.

Thanks Ma, Tim, GS, Jean-Pierre, and Jen. We're getting your comments. We can read comments from older posts also. We're on our way to Gisborn, so we'll update the post when we get there.
Ta,

Hi Weber Family, Shauna in CA here. I'm enjoying checking in on your travels. What a fun adventure for you all! I love the milk pictures. Maybe Oliver could do dome sort of children's book with the photos he is taking.

Hi all. Happy Birthday Oliver! Seems like I'm having some internet connection problems so hope this get through. I'll try to get to the library this week to view the latest blog. When I pulled up the map my connection blanked out. I just wanted you to know I'm thinking of all of you & love the photos. Grandma Susie

Shauna and GS, thanks! Talking of children's books; we were at a market yesterday and someone selling used books gave Quinne a bunch. Now we're enjoying some new bedtime material.

JP, we have been trying the wine and enjoying it.
Regards,
Oliver
